It feels so good to be in love and everyone out there who has been in love at some point of time in their life will perfectly understand what I am saying.

That butterflies in the stomach n those palpitations when you finally gather up the courage to propose.

Those sleepless nights of just thinking of those right words to express your love.

Rehearsing those words a million times in front of the mirror.

Meeting your love and then going blank.

And if not blank the words come to the tip of your tongue n then absolutely refuse to come out.

Repeating this frustrating phenomenon of failing at proposing a hundred times and cursing yourself at your cowardice

To spend countless nights on your roof, gazing at the moon and trying to decide who is more beautiful, your love or the moon.

To sit with all your friends but keep drifting in and out of your dream world where u keep seeing that love of your life sitting right beside you.

Then finally standing up and confessing your love after having consoled yourself a hundred times by saying “She’s too good for you. She‘ll say no.” but secretly hoping she’ll say yes.

That exhilarating yahoo when your love smiles and says “I love you too”

That first date- clumsy, awkward, not knowing what to say, confused as to whether you should hold her hand, those really bad jokes and that absolutely disastrous attempt at being romantic.

That speeded up heartbeat whenever the phone rings and you hope its her call.

That extremely tickled feeling you get when you answer the call and you hear her voice.

How you just keep smiling all through your hour long phone conversations.

That distraction you battle from 4.30 in the evening when you know you are supposed to meet her at 5. Those million gazes at the clock and that complete inability to get any work done in that last half hour.

That feeling you get when you look at her and your heart brims with love and your eyes sting because you want to cry out of happiness.

Every time you hold her tight in your arms you get the feeling that you want to spend all eternity just there in that moment.

Every time she flashes that love filled smile at you and feel yourself going weak in the knees.

How you fall in love all over again with her each time she talks about your future together with all that faith n belief.

How each tear in her eyes pricks you like a million daggers.

How only her “good morning” marks the start of your day.

It really is good to be n love. To all you lovers out there who have found true love in your life – “congratulations” and to all you lovers out there are still waiting for cupids arrow to strike “best of luck” this is my salute to the greatest emotion that ever was, is and will be - LOVE
